Why is “deep cultivation” in the workplace more reliable than “frequent job hopping”?
—— A discussion on the relationship between years of work and career development
In today’s job market, many people, especially young professionals, change jobs every 1-2 years on average. This phenomenon of “job hopping” is becoming increasingly common, but some seasoned tech executives hold a different view: truly making a significant contribution in a company usually requires at least 3-4 years.

Most people still do not fully understand the power of AI. Merely asking AI to do the work with one click actually overlooks the most important part: your thought process before instructing it. Essentially, it's about SOPs—once the SOP is clear, I believe AI will give you a satisfactory result.
Additionally, during my recent usage, I have deeply felt that AI is truly a great tool for brainstorming!

Through continuous iteration and refinement of my writing SOP, my current readership is gradually improving. I look forward to breaking 1,000, then 10,000, and ultimately reaching 100,000+ reads.

The unspoken rules of adults: Unexpected greetings after a long time often carry a "purpose"
Suddenly, your phone screen lights up, and a profile picture that has been silent for three years sends a message: "Are you there?" What's your first reaction? Surprise, or a tight feeling in your heart?
In the adult world, there are no coincidences. When those long-lost friends suddenly reach out, there are usually only two reasons: either they are coming to collect red envelopes, or they are borrowing money.

Yesterday I saw a news story about a nurse named Chen from the ICU at Fengcheng City Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Jiangxi. She tearfully complained that after being diagnosed with lung cancer and requesting sick leave, the hospital refused her request and only approved personal leave.
It seems that after her surgery, she took a month of sick leave. When she tried to continue her sick leave with a medical certificate issued by the hospital, her request was denied. They only agreed to let her take a month of personal leave, during which she would have to pay her own social securit

I ran a half marathon over the weekend, and during the run I came across some volunteers. Usually, volunteers are selected from local universities. I saw one volunteer say they were born in 2008, and it made me realize how quickly time passes.

Last time I was walking down the street and heard a guy say that he can't get any orders during peak hours because too many people are competing for them. Then today I saw this news—doesn't that just prove the logic?
There are just too many people doing gig work these days.

I will never respond to messages asking to borrow money again. Yesterday, an old classmate suddenly messaged me, saying he urgently needed some money to tide him over (it wasn’t a large amount). Since it was late at night and I had already turned off the lights to rest, I just replied simply: I’ll transfer it to you tomorrow morning.
I didn’t expect that when I woke up the next morning, I saw he had sent several messages urging me and pressing for a response, with a tone that completely lacked boundaries, basically saying: Hurry up and transfer it, I need it urgently, we’re bros.

I might need to take charge of a regional project later and act as an agent for a major figure. I’ll start a separate series to document this new job and learn together with everyone.
My work may involve being responsible for the entire project's financial operations.
I took finance courses in college, but they haven’t been of much use, so I’ll probably have to start learning all over again. Fortunately, we now have AI to help simulate and answer questions—let’s encourage each other.

Here's a joke: During the same period, my S&P 500 investment has yielded 16% returns so far this year, while my investment in a pretty decent Hong Kong tech index this year has bounced around so much that after a single pullback, it's down to 9%. Sometimes, it's really not about how hard you work—if you pick the right direction, any position is the right one.

I was really shocked when I saw a demographic chart of Shanghai—not because of the large elderly population, but because of the rapid decline in the population of childbearing age.
The chart shows that people born during the baby boom of the '80s and early '90s are gradually getting older and leaving the childbearing stage. Meanwhile, the number of people born in the late '90s and early 2000s, who are now entering their peak childbearing years, has already dropped significantly.
So a very simple logic emerges: even if these people want to have children, it's basically impossible to return to t

People may habitually overlook the importance of some news before the real bull market starts.
So far this week…
- Vanguard has opened a channel for 50 million clients to invest in the crypto market
- Bank of America recommends a 1-4% allocation to Bitcoin
- The Federal Reserve has ended its 2.5-year quantitative tightening program…

When you're hesitating, ask yourself a few questions:
1. If I were to make a choice from zero right now, would I still choose this?
2. If I disregard all previous investments and only look at the future, am I still willing to invest this time, money, and emotion?
3. Is there a better place for the resources I plan to continue investing? (opportunity cost)
4. Am I seeking the result now, or am I just reluctant to let go of previous investments?
If you feel uncertain about the answers to questions 2 and 3, then you're basically being dragged along by "sunk cost emotions."
At the end of the day,

I have to say there are too many wealthy people in Shenzhen.
Today I saw the news that the luxury property Wan Yunxi in Shenzhen opened for sale, selling 13 billion in one day. Upon closer inspection, I found that this property is a super high-rise residential building, and the higher the floor, the higher the price, comparable to high-rise luxury apartments in New York, right?
Units above the 55th floor start at 130 million, with a price of over 250,000 per square meter, and the top floor costs 500 million per unit.
I have mentioned the issue at a high level before, and I don't quite unde

I wonder what the profile of this group will look like after 2010?
I want to investigate whether certain issues may become prominent if the entire group is exposed to these media too early. I am not sure where to find relevant research papers.

Decide what kind of person you want to be and truly believe that you will act like that person.
Every small habit is important; start from small things and keep accumulating.
The more successes you accumulate, the stronger your confidence in yourself will become, and ultimately this will guide you to become the best version of yourself.
