Have you ever thought while scrolling through TikTok that those videos are actually someone's ATM? Recently, several creative money-making cases can be described as wild:
**"Sleep Live Streaming" earns 34,000**
Australian guy Boehm goes live every night at 11 PM lying in bed to sleep. When viewers send gifts, it triggers sounds/lights that wake him up — after a month of this, he has made $34,000 from his disrupted sleep. The key is that viewers feel a sense of control and will continue to send gifts.

When Your Parents Are Right (But You Don't Listen)
ECB President Christine Lagarde just revealed something hilarious at a town hall: her son in his 30s ignored her crypto warnings and lost about 60% of his investment last year.
"He ignored me royally," Lagarde said. "He lost almost all the money."
Here's the plot twist—Lagarde has been one of crypto's biggest critics, repeatedly calling Bitcoin "worth nothing" and saying central banks should stay far away from crypto's volatility. Her son apparently decided he knew better.
The irony? He eventually agreed she was right, but only after taking th

The EV adoption map across America is shockingly uneven. California's dominating with 903K registered EVs (2.5% of all vehicles), while North Dakota has just 640 (0.08%).
West Coast + Northeast leading hard:
- Washington: 104K EVs (1.53%)
- New Jersey: 87K EVs (1.22%)
- Oregon: 47K EVs (1.24%)
The Midwest and South lagging way behind. Mississippi, Wyoming, and West Virginia stuck under 0.15% adoption. Texas has 149K EVs but that's only 0.59% of its massive vehicle fleet.
Bottom line: EV adoption still heavily concentrated in wealthy coastal states with strong environmental policies. Middle Am

# Quantum Computing Stock Bounces Back After Rough Week
QUBT took a beating this week, down 3.8% as macro headwinds and AI valuation concerns dragged growth stocks lower. The stock had tumbled double digits mid-week but staged a Friday rally when Fed rate-cut odds jumped to 69% (up from 44% last week).
Year-to-date? Down 38% — ouch. The real story: investors are bipolar on quantum right now. Nvidia's strong earnings initially sparked a buying spree in speculative plays, then a wave of profit-taking hit as traders worried about an AI bubble forming.
The near-term catalyst is clear — December F

Is the AI bubble theory back again? Jen-Hsun Huang directly responded.
Recently, Michael Burry warned about an AI bubble, but Nvidia CEO Jen-Hsun Huang refuted this claim at the earnings conference. He believes that what is happening now is fundamentally not a bubble, but three waves of real technological revolution:
1️⃣ The migration from CPU to GPU - the massive shift of hundreds of billions of dollars in cloud computing has just begun.
2️⃣ Traditional ML to Generative AI - has already transformed search rankings, recommendation systems, and advertising placements. Meta increased Instagram&#

# The 10 Richest Families in the World, How Many Do You Know?
The Walton family now firmly holds the throne as the world's richest family, with a net worth of $224.5 billion—this figure is greater than the GDP of many countries. However, this group did not become wealthy through the entrepreneurship of a single individual; instead, they relied on Walmart, this money-printing machine, passing it down through generations, allowing wealth to automatically snowball.
The top 5 richest families are: Walton 02245 billion, Mars Candy 01600 billion, Koch Industries 01288 billion, Saudi Royal Famil

Meta just dodged a bullet. A federal judge ruled the company isn't an illegal monopoly, killing the FTC's plan to force it to sell off Instagram and WhatsApp. The agency argued Meta bought these platforms to crush competition, but Judge Boasberg wasn't buying it—he pointed out Meta faces intense pressure from TikTok, YouTube, and AI-driven alternatives. Pretty wild considering Facebook's actual relevance is tanking even though Meta's apps hit 3.3B daily users combined. Zuckerberg himself testified about the competitive heat. Meanwhile, the judge noted Meta's social-media market share is "modes

How Trump's tariff exemptions are stirring up the global coffee market

As soon as the policy was announced, the futures fell.
On Thursday, Trump signed an executive order removing Brazilian food products from the tariff list, including the highly publicized 40% coffee tariff. The market reacted immediately on Friday – Arabica coffee futures (March contract) fell 1.91% to a 7-week low, while Robusta coffee dropped 2.70%.
This is how the chain reaction occurs.
The key catalyst is the depreciation of the Brazilian real to a 5-week low. A weaker currency = Brazilian coffee producers are more aggressive in selling. Moreover, the market expects heavy rains in Brazil, which is favorable for crop growth but unfavorable for prices.
The real story on the supply side
What is behind this wave of tariff exemptions? About 1/3 of coffee imported by the United States comes from Brazil. During the tariff implementation period from August to October, U.S. coffee purchases from Brazil plummeted by 52% year-on-year (down to 984,000 bags). Now that it has been exempted, U.S. buyers will rush back in, which seems to be bearish for futures in the short term, but in the long run.

What is the Canadian banking industry currently experiencing?
The answer is: The major test of Basel IV reform. As one of the first countries to take the plunge, the Bank of Canada now has to deal with over 30,000 validation rules, more complex capital calculations, and the restructuring of risk-weighted assets.
Latest update: OSFI just announced in July this year a one-year delay in raising the output floor (from 67.5% to 72.5%), originally scheduled for 2026 and now pushed to 2027. It seems like a sigh of relief, but in reality, it is giving banks a chance to catch their breath—the real chal
