The company sees this move as potentially the most efficient solution to the rapidly increasing demand for computing, and also considers it the beginning of a transition to a civilization capable of fully harnessing solar energy.
The idea faces significant challenges, such as the proposed number of satellites far exceeding the current satellites around Earth, along with growing concerns about pollution and space debris
But it seems SpaceX has set this huge number as a starting point for negotiations.
