The New York Stock Exchange is about to launch a tokenized trading platform. Intercontinental Exchange Group's NYSE announced that they are developing a new platform for tokenized securities trading and on-chain settlement, currently seeking regulatory approval.

This new platform is quite interesting. It supports 24/7 trading, unlike traditional stock markets that are limited by opening hours. Settlement is also different—instant settlement, no T+1 process. Orders can be priced in USD, and fund transfers are completed using stablecoins.

Once regulatory approval is granted, the NYSE will be able to launch a brand new trading venue. The key point is that tokenized stocks and traditionally issued securities can be interchangeable. In other words, it supports both trading of traditional stocks after tokenization and native digital securities tokens. Token holders will have the same dividend and governance rights as traditional shareholders—this is very important.

This is just part of Intercontinental Exchange's larger digital strategy. They are also preparing clearing infrastructure to support 24/7 trading and exploring the potential applications of tokenized collateral. It looks like the integration of traditional finance and on-chain worlds is moving from concept to practice.

I told you, traditional finance is finally getting serious The NYSE is tokenizing, now on-chain trading is about to turn the world upside down 24-hour nonstop trading? Now that's a true free market Instant settlement without waiting for T+1, this efficiency is unmatched Stablecoin settlement, regulators are also beginning to accept blockchain Token and traditional securities swap, showing that the crypto world and Wall Street are really becoming one But we still need approval, so patience is required for this wave

Wow, the NYSE is really going on-chain. Traditional finance is about to be turned upside down. 24-hour trading? Instant settlement? Isn't this what we've been dreaming of? It's finally here. Wait, regulatory approval... still waiting, probably won't be settled in ten or eight years. Dividends and governance rights are both included, tokens and stocks can still be exchanged. This design really has no flaws. Traditional finance is being forced to embrace Web3, indeed. The true integration has begun, and it feels like the entire ecosystem is about to be reshuffled. But it depends on whether it can really be implemented in the end. It's easy to say nice things. Stablecoin settlement? The Federal Reserve needs to consider this carefully. ICE is serious this time. No half-hearted efforts, and they'll definitely win. Bet five dollars—this will become the watershed in finance for the next decade. The moment on-chain settlement happens, the entire trading ecosystem will change.

Wait, is the NYSE really going to tokenize? This time, is it just hype again? --- 24-hour trading sounds great, but can it really succeed... The regulatory hurdles might take a long time to clear. --- Instant settlement + stablecoins, that's interesting. Finally, traditional giants are serious about on-chain settlement. --- Tokenized stocks and traditional securities swapping? I just want to know how the liquidity is—don't tell me it's just a paper plan. --- Dividends and governance rights are both included. Should I go all in now... but maybe I should wait until it's truly live. --- Is the NYSE doing this for real, or is it just another marketing stunt before a new funding round? Who knows. --- 24/7 trading is good for retail investors, but the risks come along with it too. --- Stablecoin settlement, can the SEC agree? That's the real question.

Damn, is the NYSE also getting into tokens? Now traditional finance is really being forced onto the blockchain. --- 24-hour trading, instant settlement... Isn't this the advantage we've been touting? Finally Wall Street gets to experience it. --- Dividend rights and governance rights are the same, so why differentiate? Just make everything tokens and it's done. --- Regulatory approval is the key. This thing feels like it will take a long time. --- Stablecoin settlement, here we go again. Can we really trust it? --- It seems the NYSE is being forced to innovate; otherwise, it would have been wiped out by on-chain trading long ago. --- Wait, can tokenization and traditional securities be interchangeable? That means both can coexist. It feels a bit like putting the cart before the horse.

Watching the NYSE go on-chain, it reminds me of the big leek massacre in 2017... Is this time really different? --- 24-hour trading? Wow, this is to make us 996 workers all go all-in --- Instant settlement sounds great, but let me tell you, the more convenient the trading, the faster you lose --- When regulators finally give the green light, even the bagholders might have to line up --- Tokens and traditional stocks swapping? Hmm, it seems like they're pushing retail investors onto the chain... --- Both dividend rights and governance rights are available, but it still depends on how long this platform can survive. Do you remember those "revolutionary" exchanges? --- Getting out of traditional finance and entering the on-chain world, everyone buckle up, this ride is fast --- Stablecoin settlement sounds secure, but why do I still smell the scent of the 2018 disaster?

Is the NYSE really going to get regulatory approval for this? Feels like we’ll have to wait a long time. --- 24-hour trading is a good selling point, but is stablecoin settlement reliable? --- Swapping tokens with traditional securities sounds great, but in practice, there are probably a bunch of pitfalls. --- Traditional finance embracing on-chain, is this really happening or just another PR stunt? --- Removing T+1 is definitely more comfortable, but who will bear the risk? --- I just want to know when ordinary retail investors can use it, not just institutional exclusive. --- Real-time settlement saves time, but what about counterparty risk? Haven’t even thought about it. --- Here we go again, another "future of integration," been talking about this for years. --- Stablecoin payments—what happens if one of these stablecoins crashes?
