Submitting late doesn't cut it. To actually have a valid claim, you need to demonstrate exceptional circumstances—otherwise you're out of luck. The whole burden sits with you as the claimant. No valid reason for the delay means no valid claim. That's just how it works.

Don't even think about submitting late; the rules are right here.

This rule is too strict; it feels a bit unfriendly to those who submit later.

Late submission is just asking for trouble; you need to have real skills.

Late submissions are unlikely to be accepted unless you truly have special circumstances; otherwise, just accept the outcome.

It's ridiculous, constantly asking you to prove "special circumstances." Who set that rule?

Oh wow, this rule is really strict. Basically, unless there's a special case, you have to accept defeat.

Submitting materials late really won't save you. Unless you can prove special circumstances, just prepare to be rejected.
