The current draft of the CLARITY Act is heading in the wrong direction. While the intent behind it may be reasonable, the actual text poses serious risks to the DeFi ecosystem as written—making it something we should actively oppose in its present form. Significant revisions would be needed to strike the right balance. Here's hoping that by 2026, lawmakers will develop a version that's genuinely friendly to both DeFi protocols and stablecoins, rather than creating unnecessary barriers for the entire sector.

The draft of the Clarity Act is really a disaster. Don't just talk about 2026; we should strongly oppose it right now.

The Clarity Act version is really disappointing; the lawmakers haven't grasped the essence of DeFi yet.
