According to Deep Tide TechFlow news, on March 26, Tabi officially announced that it will be the title sponsor of the 2025 Bangladesh Cricket Championship. The event is expected to attract tens of millions of viewers, with commercial value comparable to the Indian IPL league (with a single season sponsorship reaching $300 million).
As a global event evolving from traditional British sports, cricket holds symbolic significance for national unity in Bangladesh. The national team, known as the “Tigers,” often ignites nationwide excitement, with scenes of street youths wielding bats becoming a common sight. This tournament brings together top clubs from Bangladesh as well as strong teams from Asia, including India, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka, and features a women’s exhibition match for the first time to align with the national strategy for the development of women’s cricket.
A Tabi spokesperson said: “Cricket is a cultural language that transcends borders, and we look forward to supporting the sports ecosystem in Bangladesh with innovative and inclusive values.” The organizing committee revealed that details of the event will be gradually announced in the coming months.
