Bloomberg ETF analyst Eric Balchunas spoke after the news that CME will launch futures contracts for Solana and XRP came up.

Balchunas said he thinks the Solana futures ETF could be approved in mid-March with this development. Additionally, Balchunas noted that spot ETF approvals for Solana are also imminent, so he expressed doubts about the size of the demand for these futures ETFs.

After the development, the Solana price did not make a significant move and is currently trading around $264 at the time of writing this article.
