Earlier in the day, the Korean Supreme Prosecutors’ Office (abbreviated as the Prosecutors’ Office) applied to the Seoul Western District Court for a detention order against President Yin Xiyue on the grounds of ‘leader of internal rebellion’ and ‘abuse of power’.
