According to the TASS news agency on Tuesday, the third Russian oil tanker sent a distress signal in the Black Sea. Previously, two other oil tankers were damaged and leaked oil in the weekend storm. A local Russian official said on Tuesday that the leaked oil has been washed up on the coast of the Black Sea for dozens of kilometers, and a local special working group has declared a state of emergency in multiple locations. Although TASS did not provide details of the third oil tanker, the Telegram account Baza, which has close ties to the Russian security department, said that this oil tanker is the same as the previous two, both of which are Volgo-Don 2350 ships that are over 50 years old.
