Solana co-founders and Matter Labs CEO disagree on 'Which is faster, Solana or ZK?'
CoinVoice has learned that Toly, co-founder of Solana, responded to community inquiries by stating: ‘ZK is slower than traditional calculations. Therefore, due to no religious reasons limiting Full Node capacity, Solana is always faster than ZK.’ In response, Alex Gluchowski, CEO of Matter Labs, the developer of ZKsync, stated: ‘ZK is always faster than Solana because it is secured by mathematics rather than validators, which means one or a few validators (for redundancy) are sufficient, without the need to wait for Consensus among thousands of Nodes.’ [Original Article Link]
