Solana co-founder and Matter Labs CEO have different opinions on 'Solana and ZK, which one is faster'

CoinVoice has learned that Toly, co-founder of Solana, replied to a community member’s question, stating: ‘ZK is slower than traditional computing. Therefore, since there are no religious restrictions on full node capacity, Solana is always faster than ZK.’ In response, Alex Gluchowski, CEO of Matter Labs, developer of ZKsync, responded: ‘ZK is always faster than Solana because it is protected by mathematics rather than validators, which means that one or a few validators (for redundancy) are sufficient and there is no need to wait for consensus among thousands of nodes.’ [Original link]
