The November 14th data from Jinshi News reported that, according to The Washington Post, three Israeli current and former officials familiar with the meeting revealed that this week, a close aide to Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu informed US President-elect Trump that Israel is intensifying its efforts to promote a ceasefire protocol in Lebanon, aiming to present an early diplomatic achievement to the President-elect. Trump has expressed his desire to end the wars in the Middle East, but in a previous conversation with Netanyahu last month, he also told him to “do what needs to be done” regarding Hezbollah and Hamas. It is currently unclear what impact the proposed Lebanon initiative discussed at the Sea Lake Manor will have on the stalemate ceasefire in Gaza and the negotiations for the release of hostages.
