Analysis: TON network may crash due to DOGS airdrop, peak TPS is only 280, far below expectations.
Odaily Planet Daily News, TradingStrategy.ai co-founder Mikko Ohtamaa posted on X, stating: ‘It seems that the TON stress test has failed, and its infrastructure collapsed during the DOGS Airdrop. The network only reached 280 TPS, which is far below the previously claimed theoretical 55,000 TPS.’ According to Tonscan data, the TON network has not produced any blocks for over 4 hours.
