Intense clashes erupt in the illegal US military-controlled zone in Syria

On August 7, Jinshi Data reported that fierce clashes broke out in the eastern rural areas of Deir ez-Zor, Syria between Arab tribal forces and Kurdish forces. The Arab tribal forces launched a large-scale attack on the Kurdish forces in the eastern rural areas of Deir ez-Zor, seizing control of several towns. They also took American military equipment from the Kurdish forces and used mortars to bombard the towns, resulting in civilian casualties. It is reported that the area of the conflict is within the illegal presence of the U.S. military in Syria, and is managed by the Kurdish forces supported by the U.S. military. Following the clashes, the illegally occupied Conoco gas field and Omar oil field by the U.S. military are on high alert, and U.S. helicopters were sighted firing at the Arab tribal forces near the Euphrates River in the eastern Deir ez-Zor.
