Nuffle Labs releases its technology roadmap and will launch the NFFL mainnet in early Q3.

On July 5th, Nuffle Labs, an independent entity that was spun off from the NEAR Foundation, released its technical roadmap. Nuffle Labs will focus on providing modular infrastructure for other projects in the last two quarters of 2024. The specific roadmap includes: the launch of the NFFL Mainnet, a NEAR fast finality layer, in early Q3; the development of Cross-Chain Interoperability NFFL applications in Q3; the drop of NEAR validator hardware requirements for NEAR DA stateless validation in Q3; and the launch of Chain Signatures on Mainnet in Q3. Chain Signatures is a new protocol that utilizes MPC technology, allowing NEAR accounts to send transactions to any ECDSA chain.

Foresight News previously reported that Nuffle Labs announced a strategic financing of $13 million in June, with Electric Capital leading the investment. Nuffle Labs has built the NEAR Data Availability Layer (NEAR DA), NEAR Fast Finality Layer (NFFL), and other products in the NEAR modular product suite.
