Các nhà phân tích của Mizuho cho biết khối lượng giao dịch điều chỉnh của stablecoin USD Coin (USDC) đã vượt qua Tether (USDT) từ đầu năm đến nay, đảo ngược xu hướng kéo dài nhiều năm trước đó.
Theo báo cáo, USDC hiện chiếm khoảng 64% thị phần khối lượng giao dịch so với USDT. Đây là sự thay đổi đáng chú ý so với giai đoạn 2019–2025, khi USDT luôn dẫn đầu về khối lượng giao dịch.
Các nhà phân tích cho biết “khối lượng điều chỉnh” được tính dựa trên hoạt động của các địa chỉ ví được xác định là liên quan đến các nền tảng giao dịch tập trung (CEX), giao dịch phi tập trung (DEX) hoặc các thực thể khác, đồng thời loại bỏ những địa chỉ có hơn 1.000 giao dịch hoặc khối lượng vượt 10 triệu USD trong bất kỳ giai đoạn 30 ngày nào.
Nói cách khác, chỉ số này nhằm đo lường những giao dịch có khả năng phản ánh hoạt động kinh tế thực tế của người dùng hoặc tổ chức, chẳng hạn như doanh nghiệp thanh toán cho nhà cung cấp, người dùng đặt cược trên nền tảng dự đoán thị trường hoặc dòng vốn di chuyển giữa sàn giao dịch và các giao thức DeFi.
Dù vậy, xét về tổng nguồn cung, USDT vẫn là stablecoin lớn nhất thế giới. Theo dữ liệu thị trường, vốn hóa của USDT hiện khoảng 184 tỷ USD, trong khi USDC đạt khoảng 79 tỷ USD.
Các nhà phân tích của Mizuho cho rằng USDC đang được sử dụng nhiều hơn trong các ứng dụng thực tế hàng ngày, đặc biệt là trong lĩnh vực thanh toán. Theo họ, stablecoin chiến thắng trong dài hạn có thể sẽ là loại được sử dụng rộng rãi nhất trong hoạt động kinh tế thực tế, chứ không chỉ đơn thuần là loại có vốn hóa thị trường lớn nhất.
