Tether tests the local AI assistant QVAC, with plans to open source it

PANews February 12 News, Tether CEO Paolo Ardoino stated that they are testing a local AI assistant called QVAC. The assistant has integrated support for multiple skills through MCP, collaborates with Asana in demonstration use cases, and can achieve 100% local inference and decision-making on laptops with “below average” GPU configurations. Ardoino said that QVAC will be released soon as open source, positioning it as a local AI tool for general users.
