Cash App updates Bitcoin fee mechanism: no fees for large transactions / recurring investments, and Lightning Network payments

Foresight News reports that Jack Dorsey’s payment platform Cash App has updated its Bitcoin fee mechanism, including zero fees for large Bitcoin purchases starting today; zero fees for dollar-cost averaging Bitcoin investments; zero fees for Bitcoin transactions via the Lightning Network; and increased withdrawal limits for eligible users. All Bitcoin purchased on Cash App is held 1:1, and users can withdraw at any time.
