Odaily Planet Daily reported that on-chain analyst Yu Jin monitored that as Trend Research has essentially completed liquidation, their final loss on ETH is now clear: approximately $734 million. Including their previous long position on ETH, their total loss on ETH amounts to $419 million:

Entered long on 231,000 ETH at an average price of $2,667, and exited at an average price of $4,027, realizing a profit of $315 million.

Entered long on 651,500 ETH at an average price of $3,180, and exited at an average price of $2,053, incurring a loss of $734 million.
However, according to some reports, although Trend Research suffered huge losses on ETH, the fund overall did not lose money; they just gave back most of their previous profits.
Their gains from other cryptocurrencies, such as WLFI and FORM, offset the losses on ETH, and they are profitable in those assets.
