Odaily Planet Daily reports that according to Xinhua News Agency, U.S. President Trump stated that the U.S. has successfully struck Venezuela, arresting President Maduro and his wife, and taking them out of Venezuela. Maduro had previously supported the launch of the cryptocurrency “Petro” as the country’s international accounting unit, as well as the benchmark for domestic wages and prices of goods and services, with an issuance of 100 million tokens. The purpose of issuing it was to counter the economic and financial blockade imposed by the United States.
