Foresight News reports that a member of the HyperLiquid team posted on Discord, stating, “Regarding the recent community inquiries about the shorting address starting with 0x7ae4: This address belongs to a former employee who was terminated in the first quarter of 2024. This individual is completely separated from Hyperliquid Labs, and their actions do not represent the standards and values of our team.”
