ChainCatcher reports that, according to Financefeeds, UK fintech company Zepz (owner of international remittance platforms WorldRemit and Sendwave) announced a partnership with enterprise digital asset platform Fireblocks to launch stablecoin-based remittance services in emerging markets. The report states that Zepz serves over 9 million users across 130 countries, while Fireblocks handles over $4 trillion in digital asset transfers annually. This collaboration aims to provide near real-time, low-cost cross-border payment solutions to address the pain points of traditional correspondent banking routes, which have long settlement times and high fees.
