Golden Finance reported that the U.S. Department of Justice announced on Friday that it has filed a request to seize $15.1 million worth of Tether USDT stablecoin, which was confiscated from North Korean hackers associated with the APT38 organization.
The U.S. Department of Justice also obtained guilty pleas from four U.S. citizens and one Ukrainian national, who admitted to aiding North Korean IT workers in fraudulently obtaining jobs at American companies by providing stolen identities and hosting company laptops.
