The two sides of the Israel-Palestine conflict each have their own claims regarding whether a ceasefire has been reached.

Jin10 reported on October 10 that the Israeli Army Radio stated that the Israel Defense Forces will soon withdraw to the “initial withdrawal line” area according to the plan of U.S. President Trump. This withdrawal line is roughly the same as the control line in the Gaza Strip before the Israeli military launched a large-scale offensive on Gaza City in September. The report also stated that the ceasefire agreement between Israel and Hamas has come into effect, and the Israeli military has stopped military operations in the Gaza Strip. However, according to reports from Al Jazeera and the Palestinian Holy City News Network, the Israeli military's attacks on Gaza City and several areas including Khan Younis are still ongoing.
