Pump.fun, the Solana-based memecoin launchpad that has become synonymous with the latest wave of token speculation, has crossed $800 million in lifetime revenue, according to on-chain data.

Revenue Milestone Backed by Fees

Data compiled by pseudonymous analyst @adam_tehc on Dune shows Pump has accumulated $800,668,932 in fees. The platform’s primary revenue driver is a 1% swap fee on all token transactions. Before it launched its own decentralized exchange, PumpSwap, the service also charged a fee when tokens “graduated” to Raydium after hitting specific market capitalization thresholds.

The consistent flow of activity has pushed Pump’s daily revenue above $1 million, cementing its dominance even as competition grows.

Rivalry With LetsBonk

The rise of LetsBonk.fun, another Solana-based launchpad, briefly threatened Pump’s lead. Backed by the Bonk community and integrated with Raydium’s LaunchLab, LetsBonk quickly attracted developers and overtook Pump last month in the number of “graduated” tokens.

However, Pump regained its position as top memecoin incubator after several leading deployers migrated back to the platform. Popular trader @WazzCrypto suggested that the move of the top 10 LetsBonk deployers to Pump was the turning point.

LetsBonk’s revenue has since fallen sharply, from about $1 million per day earlier this month to under $30,000 daily.

Token Launch and Buyback Program

Pump strengthened its market presence further last month by launching its native token. The initial coin offering raised $600 million in just 12 minutes, highlighting the intensity of demand. The platform is now conducting a buyback program at prices above the market rate to stabilize the token’s value.

Solana vs. Base in Memecoin Wars

Despite Pump’s revenue growth, Solana itself has lost its top spot in the broader memecoin ecosystem. Coinbase-backed Base recently overtook Solana as the leading network for new token launches. On Monday, Base recorded 57,970 new memecoins compared to Solana’s 32,760, according to The Block’s data dashboard.

The Base App’s integration with decentralized social platform Zora—where posts are automatically minted as ERC-20 tokens—has further accelerated activity on the network, signaling a shift in the battleground for memecoin supremacy.
