The mayor’s office of Remedios reported that a transportation frame loaded with materials in the mine’s water channel fell, causing the collapse of the mine’s exit structure and affecting the ventilation system. Currently, rescue personnel have restored the operation of the mine’s internal ventilation system, and rescue efforts are underway.
