Today, an interesting proposal for BNB came from Changpeng Zhao, the founder of the world’s largest crypto exchange Binance and the top name associated with the altcoin BNB.
As is known, today Toncoin announced that it has entered into a collaboration with the United Arab Emirates and that those who make a payment of $35,000 and stake $100,000 in TON for three years will receive a golden visa valid for 10 years in the United Arab Emirates.
The development in question was also retweeted by Pavel Durov, the CEO of Telegram, the company behind Toncoin.
Following this, Binance founder Changpeng Zhao assessed the development and stated that if this were to be true, they would attempt a similar initiative for BNB as well. In other words, in the near future, BNB holders could obtain a gold visa from the United Arab Emirates if they make a certain payment and stake their BNB for a specified period of time. Of course, this depends on whether Changpeng Zhao and other BNB officials reach an agreement with the United Arab Emirates.
However, Changpeng Zhao is still not sure about the authenticity of Toncoin’s announcement. According to Zhao, such an initiative should have come with a government partnership and announcement. Zhao stated that this could still be true, but he has not received direct confirmation.
