The CEO of Aptos Labs participates in the CFTC Digital Asset Subcommittee

The CEO of Aptos Labs, Avery Ching, has officially joined the digital asset subcommittee of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). According to the company’s announcement, Ching will work on the Digital Asset Market Subcommittee of the Global Market Advisory Committee on Digital Assets (GMAC). This subcommittee focuses on issues related to the integrity and competitiveness of the market in America in a global context.

Alongside Ching, other members include Capitoliis CEO Gil Mandelzis and Cargill COO Samina Anwar. This appointment comes amid CFTC adjusting cryptocurrency regulations under the new administration, with several commissioners having recently resigned.
