Ethereum's MicroStrategy is Born! Huge Company Buys Large Amounts Again: Largest Institutional ETH Holder!

Sharplink Gaming, the Nasdaq-listed company that has been on the agenda for a while with its *Ethereum (ETH) purchase, announced that it has also purchased ETH.

Accordingly, the company purchased $30.7 million worth of ETH.

According to an official statement, Sharplink Gaming has announced the purchase of an additional 12,207 ETH for $30.6 million between June 16 and June 20, 2025, at an average price of $2,513 per Ethereum.***

With this acquisition, Sharplink Gaming increased its Ethereum holdings to 188,478 ETH.

And this acquisition makes the company the largest publicly traded ETH holder in the world and the second-largest holder after the Ethereum Foundation.

The company, which uses Ethereum assets in staking, stated that it has won 120 ETH rewards to date.

“As of June 20, 2025, 100% of SharpLink’s ETH holdings have been used in staking solutions, and 120 ETH rewards have been created since the Company launched its ETH-focused treasury strategy on June 2, 2025. Since then, SharpLink has achieved ETH growth of 18.97% per share.”
