CoinVoice has recently learned that, according to Decrypt, Web3 domain infrastructure provider D3 Global announced the establishment of a 1 million USDC developer fund to support the ecological construction of its Doma Protocol public Testnet. The Testnet includes two core components: the developer program Doma Forge and the domain investment platform (start.doma.xyz), aiming to transform the $364 billion domain industry into on-chain real-world assets (RWA).

Doma Forge plans to open three resources for developers:

The million-dollar funding pool supports projects from development to mainnet deployment; technical on-site guidance and integration channels for ecosystems like Solana, Base, etc.; open-source API tool library supporting domain data applications in scenarios such as DeFi and digital identity.

The Testnet has launched a domain trading platform that supports traditional domains such as .com, .xyz, as well as on-chain tokenized trading for Web3 suffixes like .solana and .shib, enabling fractional ownership and DeFi liquidity access.

D3 CEO Fred Hsu stated that the protocol bridges the Web2 and Web3 domain name markets through the ICANN compliance framework, and has currently achieved technical integration with public chains such as Solana and Avalanche. The Testnet will be open for domain asset trading, staking, and other functionality verification for over 400 million crypto wallet users.
