Arthur Hayes, co-founder of BitMEX, one of the notable names in the Crypto world, suggested in a statement made via social media that the recent popular trader James Wynn might be conducting hedge (protection purposes) transactions through anonymous wallets to benefit from the next airdrop round of the Hyperliquid platform.

Hayes used the following statements in his post:

“This could be one of the most successful marketing campaigns for a trading platform in the history of the crypto world, as ( whale James Wynn attempts to acquire funds at zero cost. HYPE will win. Additionally, this guy might be executing hedge trades from another anonymous address to be able to catch the next airdrop of Hyperliquid.”

James Wynn is known as an anonymous investor who attracts the attention of the crypto community with bold trading strategies. Recently, during the market fluctuations, Wynn experienced a total loss of 17.5 million dollars.

Wynn’s crypto journey began when he turned a $7,000 investment in the Pepe memecoin into $25 million. During this process, he made headlines with unrealized gains reportedly reaching up to $83 million.
