James Wynn: Altcoin season will not occur until Bitcoin breaks its new high.
Gate News bot message, well-known trader James Wynn posted on social media pointing out that the crypto market will not welcome the “alts season” before Bitcoin breaks its all-time high (ATH).
Wynn further elaborated that even if Bitcoin reaches a historical high, its market dominance will still delay the arrival of the altcoin season. He mentioned that currently, 80% of most degen portfolios are alts, but his asset allocation advice to investors is 99% Bitcoin and 1% meme coin, reasoning that meme coins outperform other asset classes.
