According to a report by the New York Times, a special dinner organized by US President Donald Trump for crypto investors hosted some notable names.
The event took place at Trump’s golf club in Virginia, with guests including prominent figures from the crypto world, billionaires, media personalities, and a former NBA star.
The event was a special dinner for the first 220 investors who invested in the TRUMP memecoin owned by Donald Trump. These investors were only identified by their pseudonyms in their wallets. The top 25 individuals earned “VIP” status, granting them the opportunity for a more intimate meeting with Trump and a chance to participate in a White House tour the following day.
- Justin Sun: The Chinese crypto billionaire was previously sued by the SEC. Sun is also an investor in World Liberty Financial, an initiative linked to Trump. The SEC requested a suspension of the legal process after Trump was elected president.
- Elliot Berke: Lawyer for Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas and was named “Lawyer of the Year” by the Republican Lawyers Association in 2021.
- Evgeny Gaevoy: Founder and CEO of the digital asset firm Wintermute.
- Anil Lulla & Yan Liberman: Founding partners of the cryptocurrency investment analysis firm Delphi Digital.
- Stephen Dworkin: Founder of CTS International, which provides recruitment services for military contractors.
- Sangrok Oh & SuKyung Na: The managers of Hyperithm, which manages institutional digital assets in Asia.
- Matthew Liu: Co-founder of the cryptocurrency company named Origin and former YouTube project manager.
- Jack Tan Lu: CEO of the NFT platform Magic Eden.
- Kain Warwick: Founder of the decentralized finance platform Synthetix.
- Vincent Liu: Investment Director at Taiwan-based Kronos Research.
- Other investors such as Joel Lee, Paul Jacobi, Aleksander Kloda, and Christoph Heuermann also made the list.
- Lamar Odom: Former NBA star and a new crypto entrepreneur introducing his own memecoin called ODOM at the event.
