According to Deep Tide TechFlow news on April 30, as reported by Business Wire, Hong Kong’s decentralized user data infrastructure Terminal 3 has completed an $8 million seed round of financing. This round of financing was co-led by Illuminate Financial and CMCC Titan Fund, with participation from Animoca Brands, Progression Fund, IDG Blockchain, and Cherubic Ventures.

Terminal 3 utilizes blockchain and privacy-enhancing technologies (such as zero-knowledge cryptography) to provide users with self-sovereign data storage and private access services, with application scenarios covering banking, government credentials, social media, and marketing.

According to reports, the company currently serves nearly 8 million users. The funding will be used to develop new data privacy and security protocols and accelerate the application of enterprise-level Decentralization identity and credential platforms.
