Chainlink (LINK) Joins Forces with Billion-Dollar-Projects on Coinbase’s Base – Can Price Reach $20? Report

Chainlink, a leading decentralized blockchain oracle network, also established as the industry-standard Web3 services platform, is strengthening its reach and usability across the cryptocurrency and blockchain eco.

In a recent announcement shared on X, formerly known as Twitter, Chainlink disclosed that it has now integrated with Coinbase’s Base. According to the announcement, Coinbase also integrated with a handful of other projects.

Other new integrations include ApeironNFT, BansheesNFT, BuildOnBase, box Trad, crypto guilds, hellobot NFT, lendvest, LSTradeOfficial, and a host of others.

Notably, Coinbase’s Base is also well positioned for mass adoption, as newer decentralized applications (dApps) are poised to make their way onto the platform.

Base, which went live on August 9th, is an Ethereum layer 2 blockchain that was incubated by Coinbase and built using the Optimism software stack.

Jesse Pollak, the head of protocol at Coinbase, and the overseer of Base, shared some insights into Base’s current trajectory. Pollak revealed that 100 dApps have already been deployed and are set to go live on the network.

Base also seems to be expanding its reach as quickly as possible, as the network has now gone live in Canada. In an official blogpost, Coinbase acknowledged that Canada is currently ranked as the world’s third-most crypto-aware nation. As such, Canada is one of the most promising locations for Base to thrive.

In addition, Chainlink’s native token, LINK, could also benefit from the new development, as demand for Chainlink could continue to rise as a result of its recent move.

At report time Chianlink (LINK) is trading for $7.56, after securing gains of 1.05% over the last 24 hours.

Recently, a popular crypto analyst, known as Ali_Charts, explained on X, that LINK has established strong support between the $6.63 and $6.88 price levels. Notably, 29,000 addresses have already acquired 295 million LINK within this range.

The analyst goes on to say that there is a strong bullish sentiment, as long as LINK sustains momentum above the aforementioned levels. He further stated.

Some of the largest LINK whales seem to recognize Chainlink’s robust support and are accumulating more aggressively. In the past two weeks alone, whales have acquired approximately 13 million LINK, valued at around $91 million.
