With last week's new Bitcoin purchase of (BTC), MicroStrategy continues to increase its total BTC count to 499.226, expanding its crypto investments.
US-based technology company MicroStrategy, known for its cryptocurrency investments, announced last week that it purchased an additional 130 Bitcoins at an average price of $82,981, paying a total of $10.7 million. According to the report submitted to the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) by the company, this purchase took place between March 10 and 16. The capital used for this transaction was derived from the proceeds of the company's previously announced STRK share sale program.
With the recent purchase, MicroStrategy's total Bitcoin portfolio reached a total of 499,226 BTC purchased at a cost of approximately $33.1 billion. The company's average cost per Bitcoin was calculated as $66,360. MicroStrategy also announced that the yield from its Bitcoin investment from the beginning of 2025 was (BTC Yield) 6.9%.
