True compassion is ruthless. Why do people with compassion and righteousness eventually cultivate ruthlessness? When a person's thoughts elevate, they will increasingly feel ruthless and indifferent, which is a necessary path for an awakened individual. Because after awakening, you will realize that there is a compassion called respecting the laws of nature. Once one awakens and comprehends the laws of nature, they will maintain a sincere and pure heart, being kind-hearted yet ruthless, loving all things in the world immensely but without attachment, having compassion and righteousness without desires, being so kind that they cannot bear to harm even ants, being ruthless to the point of being indifferent to the six desires. Although they may appear indifferent to worldly affairs, in reality, they hold all sentient beings and the universe in their hearts. Enlightenment is compassion.
