Odaily Planet Daily News, Avalanche founder and renowned academic pro Emin Gün Sirer stated this morning that Satoshi Nakamoto's 1 million BTC may be vulnerable to quantum threats. Early BTC used a very ancient Pay-To-Public-Key format, which leaked the Public Key, giving attackers time to research, this is the source of all encryption bounty. Modern BTC Wallets or modern systems like Avalanche do not use P2PK, but it did exist in the early stages of BTC. Therefore, as quantum threats intensify, the BTC community may need to consider freezing Satoshi Nakamoto's 1 million BTC, or more generally, providing a final date and freezing all BTC on P2PK UTXO.
Earlier, Google officially announced the launch of the latest quantum chip, Willow, claiming that it can complete calculations in less than 5 minutes, which would take current top computers 10,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 years (10 to the power of 25) to complete.#参与动态用户问卷调研,瓜分$1,000奖池 #AI代币普涨,你最看好哪个? #下一个市值超过$10亿Meme币是? eth ethw
