Kennedy believes that Ulbricht was sentenced to life imprisonment for creating the e-commerce platform Silk Road, and his punishment is too harsh. If elected president, he would pardon Ulbricht. In addition, Kennedy announced that he intends to sign a petition to release Ulbricht and urge others to join the initiative.
