**Breaking News:** 🔐 Ethereum (ETH) founder Vitalik Buterin has proposed improvements to Ethereum's proof-of-stake (PoS) mechanism through official channels. Buterin aims to enhance Ethereum's approach to handling Validator Signatures. He notes that Ethereum currently supports a vast number of validators, approximately 895,000, to promote decentralization and encourage broader participation in staking. However, managing such a large number of signatures per slot can be cumbersome. Technical optimizations, including streamlining signature operations across multiple subnets per slot, are necessary to alleviate this challenge.
