Reddit Kills Community Points Program Due to Blockchain Issues
Reddit is winding down its blockchain-based "internet points" program, Community Points, due to the high resource requirements and regulatory challenges. Community Points were awarded to users who positively engaged in select subreddits and could be used for special features. However, scaling the program proved difficult, leading Reddit to prioritize other rewards programs that are easier to scale and understand.
