Sam Bankman-Fried Pleads Not Guilty to Fraud and Money Laundering Charges



Sam Bankman-Fried, the embattled crypto mogul, pleaded not guilty to seven counts of fraud and money laundering in his fraud case related to the implosion of the FTX cryptocurrency exchange. Bankman-Fried, who is currently being held at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York, appeared in federal court in Manhattan dressed in an inmate uniform. His lawyers have been fighting for access to their client, stating that they have been struggling to build his defense without being able to review the evidence in the case
