Golden Finance reports that on April 26, local time, U.S. Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche said that search warrants had been carried out against suspects involved in the security incident at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner, and that he believes the suspect traveled from Los Angeles to Washington, D.C. by train via Chicago. Blanche said the suspect will be charged in federal court on the morning of April 27. Blanche said the gunman at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner “intended to attack government personnel, likely including the President himself.” Blanche said investigators have been able to collect some information from the suspect’s electronic devices and have interviewed some people who know him, as they begin to understand his motive for the attack.
