A sharp decline in gold… but the story is not over yet!

Gold opened this week with a strong downward gap, dropping about $150 from Friday’s high. The reason? Sudden escalation of geopolitical tensions over the weekend, with the closing of the Strait of Hormuz, one of the world's most vital energy arteries.
But here’s the paradox…
Despite these events that usually support gold, we saw downward pressure due to:
- The strength of the dollar
- Rising oil prices
- Resurgence of inflation fears in a war environment

So, what’s happening?

Today’s markets are in a "trend conflict" state:
- On one side: gold supported as a safe haven
- On the other side: a strong dollar is putting pressure on it

Technically, the picture has not changed drastically:
Gold still moves within a clear sideways range between:
(Major support at 4759
)Key resistance at 4891

And this means one thing:

The price explosion has not yet occurred… but it’s coming.

Possible scenarios:

If it breaks below 4759:
We may see acceleration toward 4700, then 4663, and possibly 4600

If it breaks above 4891:
The path toward $5000 could open psychologically and technically

The most important question now:
