Lately, I feel that ordinary people really shouldn't treat the "mainnet faith" as a badge of honor... Making a small transaction on the mainnet costs as much gas as a week's worth of milk tea, and the experience might not even be smoother. My compromise is: for daily tasks and small airdrops, go to L2 to save costs; if it's a large transfer, cross-protocol shuffling, or long-term storage, it's better to be honest and stick to the mainnet—fewer transactions, the better.

These days, the funding rates are becoming extreme again, and in the group, people are arguing whether to reverse or continue to inflate the bubble. I just find it funny: the more fiercely you argue about the rates, the less I want to use the mainnet as fuel when gas is high. Anyway, my current mindset is: don’t follow emotions, get the process done smoothly on L2 if possible, and treat using the mainnet as paying a "stability tax"... Sigh, my wallet is getting tighter and tighter the more I use it.
