#WeekendTradingPlan

Dear Gate Square community, traders, and long-term investors,

I'm back with our Weekend Trading Plan. Markets have left behind the exhilarating "bubble" phase of 2025 and are now entering an institutionally driven consolidation cycle in the first quarter of 2026. Bitcoin is testing resistance around the $75,800 band, Ethereum is holding steady around $2,350, and Gold (XAU) continues to hit new records around $4,830. In this environment, it's time to be disciplined, not hasty. Here are three critical questions for this weekend:

1️⃣ Are you betting on a "V-shaped recovery" or a "slow bleed"?

Neither a full V nor a classic slow bleed. The market is currently in "institutional grind" mode. While the TradingView BTCUSD daily technical summary gives a short-term "Buy" signal, the weekly and monthly timeframes are dominated by "Neutral". Open interest is increasing, funding rates are slightly negative, and volume doesn't confirm a breakout. So, we're experiencing a typical "post-bubble correction" after the 2025 peak – a range-bound base has been forming since the February lows.

My preference is a patient recovery awaiting a "Liquidity Snap." Stablecoin supply is at record levels, and institutional inflows are increasing through ETFs and corporate treasuries. However, the Fed's interest rate policy, geopolitical tensions, and regulatory uncertainty are still on the table. A V-shape only occurs with a sudden risk-on cycle; a slow bleed occurs if macroeconomic data deteriorates. I'm somewhere in between, expecting "condition maturity." Following money flows and the economic climate, and observing the maturation of conditions is the most solid strategy.

2️⃣ Which assets are on my radar for a potential breakout?

Core long-term portfolio (HODL & Swing):

BTC & ETH – The cornerstones. If BTC breaks above the 76-78K resistance, a target of 85K+ is realistic. In ETH, a golden cross signal is forming on the weekly MACD; in the past three golden crosses, the price jumped between 74% and 130%.
XRP* – “Breakout of the decade” is being discussed. Triangle compression is complete, a retest has been made, and the RSI has given a bullish cross. A new ATH potential may be on the table. - SOL & Chainlink (LINK) – SOL seems ready to break out of its ecosystem momentum, while LINK seems ready to break out of the range it has been narrowing for months. LINK is in the 8.70-9.00 USD band, and a break above 10 USD could target 12-14 USD.

Day-trade radar (XAUT, PAXG, Oil/Crude, XAG):
Gold and silver are currently shining. XAUUSD is up 0.85% daily at 4.831 USD, while XAGUSD is up 3% at 80.80 USD. On the oil side, the geopolitical premium continues – ideal for short-term volatility. These are my “cash flow” day-trade positions. I enter when an opportunity arises and realize when the target is reached.

3️⃣ Are there any “Black Swan” or “Golden Cross” patterns we should watch out for?

Golden Crosses:
- The weekly golden cross on the ETH MACD is very critical (past performance 74%+ return).

- In BTC, the fast line on the 12H HP stack is forming higher lows, and the slow line is curving upwards – a bullish directional transition signal.

Black Swan risks (and opportunities):
- Geopolitics (Middle East tensions are driving up gold and oil).

- Macro surprises (risk-off if the Fed pivot expectation is disrupted).

- Regulation and ETF flows (possibly a positive black swan).

However, the real “black swan” for me is a sudden snap-back after a liquidity squeeze. That’s why I always keep 20-30% cash.

My philosophy:
Opportunities never end in the investment world. Just as important as buying is being able to say "it's not the right time to buy" and staying in cash – that's a strategy, and sometimes the most powerful one. Follow the flow of money, read the market, and wait for the right conditions to mature. Haste makes mistakes, patience pays off.

Review your weekend trading plan within this framework. Risk-manage your positions, and keep your stop-loss orders tight.

Opportunities are always there.

Which one are you playing? Let's discuss in the comments.
$BTC $ETH $SOL
BTC-2,24%
ETH-3,23%
SOL-3,61%
