These days, I keep seeing stories about AI Agents automatically placing orders and cross-chain transactions, sounding like a one-click shortcut to conquering life’s challenges... But crossing a chain, frankly, is like issuing a "trust IOU" to a series of components.

IBC, which is relatively disciplined: each chain's light client must actually be running, consensus must not collapse, relayers are just couriers, don’t cause trouble, and channels/clients shouldn’t be misconfigured; while many "bridges" are more like multi-signature/multisig escrow plus a message server, convenient yes, but also more centralized when things go wrong.
Slippage is like life's margin of error; bridges are like outsourcing life: you think you're saving trouble, but you're just shifting the risk elsewhere.
What I don’t regret is: before each cross-chain operation, pause for five seconds to clearly see whether you’re trusting the chain, the verification, or some "proxy" person.
That’s all for now.
