Why am I willing to short ETH on the weekend? Because the market indicates it's "weak."
#My weekend trading plan
Seeing the weekend activities in the square, I want to share my current real trading operations. Weekend行情 is usually sideways, but sideways can also be strong or weak. This time, I chose to short ETH instead of chasing longs, mainly based on the following judgments:
1. Rebound is weak
A few days ago, ETH had a slight rebound, but each time it hit a key resistance level, it quickly retreated, with the bullish candles getting shorter and shorter, indicating that the bulls have no real resolve to break through. This kind of "stagnant" market is the best friend of shorts.
2. Market sentiment is冷
BTC is also fluctuating at high levels without forming an effective upward push. As the leading altcoin, ETH, once it loses BTC's momentum, tends to fall faster than BTC. Liquidity drops on weekends, and any selling pressure can be amplified.
3. My trading approach
I opened a partial position with a逐仓 short, not full size, leaving room to respond to sudden drops. After opening the position, ETH indeed continued to weaken, and I already have some floating profits.
My weekend plan is simple:
· Set a moving stop profit to prevent too much profit from being given back
· Also monitor a key upper price level (the resistance near my entry point). If ETH unexpectedly breaks through strongly, I will decisively close the position and exit, not holding the position
· I won't blindly add to the position just because I have floating profits; weekend trading is only about reducing positions
Weekend highlights
I will pay attention to changes in ETH's on-chain Gas fees and whether there are large transfers into exchanges. If ETH continues to decline over the weekend, I will patiently hold until next week; if there is a quick rebound after a sharp drop, I will consider adding a short position when the rebound shows signs of weakening (but only within a testing position scope).
In sideways行情, short positions are not against the trend but are in line with the most genuine direction of the market. Wishing everyone can find their own rhythm this weekend.
