Deep Tide TechFlow News, March 26 — According to U.S. media Axios, two American officials and two informed sources revealed that the U.S. Department of Defense is developing military plans for a “lethal strike” against Iran, which may include deploying ground forces and conducting large-scale bombing operations.

Officials and insiders familiar with the internal discussions described four main “lethal strike” options that Trump could choose from: ① Invade or blockade Harek Island. ② Invade Larak Island, which helps Iran strengthen control over the Strait of Hormuz. ③ Occupy the strategically significant Abu Musa Island and two smaller islands located near the western entrance of the strait. ④ Intercept or seize ships exporting Iranian oil through the eastern exit of the Strait of Hormuz.

The U.S. military has also prepared plans for ground operations deep into Iran’s interior, aimed at controlling enriched uranium stored within nuclear facilities. To avoid executing such complex and high-risk actions, the U.S. might opt for large-scale airstrikes on these facilities to prevent Iran from acquiring these materials. Trump has not yet decided whether to carry out any of these options, but sources say that if negotiations with Iran do not quickly yield substantive results, he is prepared to escalate the situation.
